The Joystick Kit for the SpydaBot "Scorpion" is used to create a joy stick controller for the SpydaBot Scorpion. It consists of a pistol grip, a phone attachment and a ball head and base which is mounted (screwed) to the console of a vehicle. It can also adapt to all SmartRest Quick Release Light Mount items and allows an attachment of a thermal camera on to the handle itself to double up as a hand held thermal and phone holder device (see images for reference). Note: Android phones have a different gyro orientation which means the phone will need to be upright to represent a horizontal position in the Gimbal - Apple's horizontal position is sync'd as horizontal to the Gimbal.
This listing includes:
1 x Fast grip Clamp (quick release clamp - this is used to hold a thermal atop the pistol grip for hand held use)
1 x Pistol Grip Handle (made by Powa Beam)
1 x Base Rail + screw (bottom of the handle to adapt to the ball head)
1 x Phone Bracket and phone clamp (holds the phone - it is a strong aluminium structure - not plastic)
1 x Ball Head (usually used on tripods - we selected these ball heads because they are very smooth and strong)
1 x Base Plate (fastens to a spot on the center console - the most convenient spot is behind the gear stick panel where you have comfortable access to rotate and manipulate the joystick control)
